Principal - GRMS
The Principal reports to the President and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the academic, religious and extracurricular life of the school as well as care for the students, faculty, staff and volunteers. The school currently enrolls approximately 80 students with a maximum school size of 90 students, and also serves 237 alumni through its Graduate Support Program. With an extended school day lasting until 4:30 PM, the Principal also oversees and organizes the afternoon Study Hall and Activities Period. Principal - GRMS
*Provide publicity for the Catholic Campus Ministry Center(s) and student organization: greet and welcome people to the Newman Center and handle routine questions about activities and policies.*Responsible for the creation and posting of flyers and announcements for the Center(s) on campus.*Can serve as Sacristan for Liturgy of the Eucharist: schedule lectors, altar servers, and Eucharistic ministers; maintain reverence for liturgical elements and show willingness to grow in this area.*Plans the music/choir for Masses and schedules and leads music/choir practices weekly.*Coordinates all forms, permits and documentation required by University in timely manner. *Can lend support to activities related to the Office of Campus and Young Adult Ministry, as well as other diocesan departments/events as needed. Qualifications: Five years proven experience in non-profit administration including strategic planning, grant procurement and fiscal management; Master’s degree in related field or equivalent professional experience; practicing Roman Catholic with working knowledge of Catholic Church teachings, structures and constituencies. Professional experience in Human Resource Management in a Catholic organization and PHR/SPHR certification preferred.
Skills and Abilities: Excellent oral and communication skills; ability to work with volunteer board of directors and with other national groups; demonstrated experience in developing, planning, executing and evaluating programs, including national conferences; proven public relations, marketing and entrepreneurial skills; understanding of and ability to manage electronic communications, databases and other technology.
Frequent nationwide travel required. Office is currently located in Cincinnati, OH; future location of office is negotiable.
