Jubilee Young Adult Pilgrimage to Rome

The Jubilee Year will offer the faithful opportunities to participate in various jubilee events at the Vatican and in their own dioceses. The great tradition of opening the Holy Door will begin when Pope Francis opens the Holy Door of St. Peter's Basilica on December 24, 2024. In July 2025, young people from across the globe will gather in Rome for the Young Adult Jubilee celebration.

This is an open group from the Diocese of Brownsville made up of individual young adults ages 18-39. Price includes roundtrip airfare from MFE, 4-star hotel lodging, the itinerary below and a faithful Catholic guide.

Itinerary - 10 days, 8 nights

• July 28      Depart McAllen for Rome

• July 29      Meet your guide upon arrival, Opening Jubilee Mass with our Holy Father at St. Peter's Square

• July 30      Holy Doors at St. John Lateran and St. Mary Major. Walking                                                    pilgrimage tour

• July 31      Holy Door at St. Paul Outside the Walls & Mass. Jubilee events

• Aug 1         Holy Door at St. Peter's. Relics of St. John Paul II & St. Faustina. Jubilee Events.

• Aug 2         Pilgrimage out to Tor Vergata for an evening vigil with the Pope. Overnight under the stars

• Aug 3         Sunday Mass with the Holy Father at Tor Vergata before coming back to Rome. Depart Rome for evening in Assisi

• Aug 4         Basilica of St. Clare & relics of Bl. Carlo Acutis, Basilica of St. Francis

• Aug 5         Depart Assisi for Rome. Free day to explore

• Aug 6         Depart Rome for McAllen
