The Department of Strategy and Development supports the bishops, priests, staff, and laity committed to advancing the mission of the Church in the Diocese of Brownsville.  The Department of Strategy and Development is responsible for creating, implementing, and evaluating growth strategies and opportunities.  The ministry is built upon relationships that bring together the knowledge, expertise, and resources of the faithful across the Rio Grande Valley. The Department of Strategy and Development assesses potential business ventures, partners with developers and other stakeholders to facilitate major projects, works with senior municipal government staff and elected officials to position and advance Church growth, and collaborates with the investment, philanthropic and development communities to maximize opportunities and better steward our resources.  Additionally, the Department of Strategy and Development oversees the work of the Love Builds Hope Foundation, the capital development arm of the Diocese of Brownsville.
